Volvo Penta´s  double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharger and after cooler. Together with a large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic Vessel Control) this results in world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions.

The KAD32 combines a mechanical compressor, turbo and charge-air cooling to provide unique performance. The Duoprop transforms the massive torque created by the compressor to unequalled acceleration. At higher speeds the turbo produces high power for excellent top speed and cruising comfort. All this performance is combined with traditional diesel strengths: reliability, long service life and overall economy. Compact and with high power-to-weight ratio, it is equally suitable for single or twin installations.
